MSME finance, funding and business compliance

Compliance is only half of what decides whether a small business survives its growth. The other half is money — whether the books are close enough to reality to borrow against, whether a scheme you qualify for is one you have actually applied to, and whether the customer who owes you ninety days of working capital is legally obliged to pay in forty-five.

These posts cover the commercial side: the MSME 45-day payment rule under section 43B(h) and what it does to your buyers, the revised Udyam classification limits, the central schemes worth the paperwork, what a bank actually reads in your file, and the bookkeeping habits that make all three easier.

Also here: the DPDP Act, which is not a finance topic but lands on the same desk — every business holding customer data now has obligations, and most MSMEs have not been told what they are.
