What to have ready
None of this is required to get a reply — but having it to hand turns a first message into a real answer instead of three rounds of questions.
- Your GSTIN, or the PAN if you are not registered yet.
- Roughly what you turn over in a year, and how many invoices a month.
- Whether payroll is involved, and for how many people.
- Any notice you have received — a photo of it is enough to start.
- What is currently late, if anything. It is almost always fixable and we would rather know now.
