Frequently asked
Which plan do I pick if I have a salary and sold some mutual funds?+
If the only gains are long-term listed equity or equity-fund gains within the ₹1.25 lakh exemption, ITR-1 still works from AY 2025-26. Any short-term gain, debt-fund gain or property sale means ITR-2. Send the statements and we place you; you never pay for a bigger plan than the form needs.
What is the difference between ITR-3 and ITR-4?+
ITR-4 is for presumptive income: 6% or 8% of turnover under 44AD, 50% of receipts under 44ADA, without maintaining audited books. ITR-3 is for anyone declaring actual profit from books, trading F&O, or receiving remuneration as a partner.
Is the price all-inclusive?+
The price is per return for the form named. Add-ons are priced separately and quoted before work starts: a tax audit where turnover or trading requires one, a lower-deduction certificate, a revised return for a change on your side, and reply to a notice on a return we did not file.
What happens if a notice comes on a return you filed?+
The reply is covered under our notice-support promise, with a first response within 48 hours. Notices on returns filed elsewhere are handled under the notice handling service.
How long does filing take?+
Most salaried returns are drafted within one working day of receiving complete documents and filed the same day you approve. Capital gains and business returns take two to four working days depending on the statements.
What are the deadlines for FY 2025-26?+
31 July 2026 for individuals not subject to audit, 31 October 2026 for audited cases, and 31 December 2026 for a belated or revised return. Missing July costs a late fee and the carry-forward of most losses.
Do you file for NRIs?+
Yes, on ITR-2 in nearly every case, with residential status, DTAA relief and refund of over-deducted TDS handled. See the NRI page for 15CA and 15CB and property-sale TDS.
Can I file myself with a free tool instead?+
For a single Form 16 and nothing else, a self-filing portal is often enough, and we say so. The plans exist for the year the AIS disagrees with your Form 16, a fund redemption appears, or a notice arrives, when the cost of being wrong is larger than the fee.
