Ten questions to a printable report across 20 central and Rajasthan schemes; five questions to an estimate of your credit band and the fix that recovers the most points.

Credit bureaus now updated weekly — a correction or a payment shows within days
RBI's amended credit-information directions took effect on 1 July 2026: lenders report on the 9th, 16th, 23rd and last day of each month. Disputes still resolve in 30 days, with ₹100 a day payable for delays.

ME-Card: a ₹5 lakh revolving credit card for Udyam-registered micro enterprises
Launched 25 May 2026 with a 75% government guarantee; banks have been set a target of 20 lakh cards this year. Udyam registration is the gate.

ITR season for AY 2026-27 — the first year under the new Income-tax Act
The 31 July date for ITR-1/2 has passed (belated filing is open); non-audit business filers on ITR-3/4 have until 31 August 2026 under the Finance Act 2026.

The Income-tax Act, 2025 is in force from 1 April 2026
The 1961 Act is replaced. Same tax outcomes for most filers, but new section numbers on every notice and form you see from now on.

Three-year bar on late GST returns is being enforced
Returns under sections 37, 39, 44 and 52 cannot be filed more than three years after their due date. Old pending returns need filing now, not later.

GST 2.0 slabs apply from 22 September 2025
12% and 28% are gone; supplies moved to 5%, 18% or 40%. Check your rate schedule and your price lists.

GSTR-3B auto-populated liability is locked
From the July 2025 tax period the portal stops manual edits to auto-populated liability in GSTR-3B — corrections belong in GSTR-1A before filing.

Section 194T: TDS on payments to partners is live
Firms and LLPs must deduct 10% TDS on remuneration, interest and commission to partners above ₹20,000 a year.
