Company law, ROC and MCA compliance

The MCA half of compliance gets neglected until it becomes expensive, because nothing chases you for it until it does. AOC-4 and MGT-7 accrue at a flat ₹100 a day each with no cap, and three consecutive years of non-filing disqualifies every director for five years under section 164(2)(a).

Posts here cover the annual cycle, the amnesty schemes when they appear, and the changes that catch people out — and the LLP fee regime that stopped being ₹100 a day in April 2022 and is still mis-stated across most of the Indian web.
