Partnership Deed

Foundational deed for a partnership firm — capital, profit sharing, banking, duties, admission/retirement, dissolution — drafted for registration with the Registrar of Firms and PAN/GST onboarding.

Use this when

Two or more persons starting a business together as a partnership firm (or putting an existing informal arrangement on paper). Needed for firm PAN, bank account, GST and Registrar of Firms registration.

Stamp duty & execution

Execute on non-judicial stamp paper valued per your state’s Stamp Act based on capital (verify the current Rajasthan rate; commonly ₹500–₹4,000 by capital slab). All partners sign with two witnesses; notarisation is customary. Registration with the Registrar of Firms under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932 is optional but strongly recommended — an unregistered firm cannot sue third parties (section 69).
